Sensitive Is the New Strong

Empaths, sensitives and lightworkers: I HIGHLY recommend Anita Moorjani’s new book, which just went on sale today. It’s called Sensitive Is the New Strong: The Power of Empaths in an Increasingly Harsh World.

It contains SO many gems, including a fabulous quiz to determine if you are an empath—and if so, to what degree. (My results say I’m “a full-on empath”!)

Moorjani also includes the BEST insights into ego and empaths that I’ve ever seen. As she writes, “People who have their conscious awareness knob dialed all the way down and their ego knob dialed all the way up are often what we call egocentric. They are pure ego with no (or very little) awareness of others…

“Most empaths naturally have this [conscious] awareness knob turned up high. This is what makes us empaths. We are innately connected to our inner mystic, as well as the world around us. So if our ego is suppressed—if our ego knob is turned way down—we suppress our self-worth, our individuality, and our self-esteem…

“For empaths, a repressed ego leaves us unable to differentiate between our own feelings and emotions and those of others. The ego is what defines our individuality, as a separate being from everyone else…

“If you feel yourself lost in the pain and emotions of the world around you, it means your ego knob (your sense of self) is turned way down.”

Moorjani also includes a fantastic explanation of how the Law of Attraction REALLY works, which is quite different from what most experts would have you believe.

I absolutely ADORE this book!
